The company, formed in 2003, produces a bi-annual regional economic outlook for a range of public and private service sector clients throughout the UK. This service is provided in conjunction with Oxford Economic Forecasting, one of the leading forecasting houses in the World. All forecasts carried out by Regional Forecasts are linked in to the overarching suite of World, industry and Macro forecasts produced by OEF, ensuring a consistent and proven framework in which to set regional and sub-regional analysis.

Regional Forecasts have produced a number of be-spoke forecasts at a sub-regional level for a number of clients. These forecasts have been used to support a wide range of aims including cluster based economic development strategies and medium term scenario planning.
